30 Minute Seasonal Cooking Demo. Contact Chef Cathy Hohmeyer for seasonal topics. Personalized topics can also be arranged within our "culinary naturopathy" philosophy with advanced agreement. Minimum participation. $50pp.

Personalized Cooking Class. There is a regularly scheduled monthly cooking class that can be viewed on our Culinary Event schedule. Personalized cooking classes are also welcomed. Don an apron and cook with Chef Cathy! Minimum participation. These 3hr. cooking programs are: $100pp.

Beer & Wine Workshops and Tastings

Workshops: Beyond a tasting, these are educational events based on seasonal themes. Learn the history of Ocotberfest beers, experience the history of ales and lagers, understand the diverse world of Riesling wines. Minimum participation. $50 $50pp.

Self-guided Beer or Wine Tastings. Sample 4 beers or 3 wines with the season. Minimum participation. $18pp.

Sleigh Rides

Through Country Dreams Farm that utilize our nature trails. Through the woods and down to the shores of Lake Clear�where Einstein relaxed. Belgium draft horses on an authentic Adirondack sleigh with jingling bells and kerosene lantern-lit trails. These 30 minute rides go on the hour. The group sleigh rides hold up to 12. Dependent upon availability and schedule. Special children rates. $40 adults $10 children under 10

Romantic Sleigh rides for 2. Your own personal beautiful Adirondack Cutter sleigh with host and Belgium draft horses. This exclusive sleigh ride for 2 is a 45 minute ride on our Great Woods lantern-lit trails and down to the shores of Lake Clear. $200 per couple.

Wellness

The Lake Clear Lodge & Retreat is a founding member of the Adirondack Wellness Guild. As such a host of member services are available to you ranging from therapeutic message, electrodermal screening, zero balancing, yoga and culinary wellness. The Lodge offers a diverse range of outdoor and indoor wellness venues: the privace of your spa chalet, the Main Lodge mini spa room, our new Lake-view Retreat Center, our 3-acre Lake lawn and beach. Education

Our retreat programs are interactive and informal. They are modeled after the 19th C Philosopher Camp of Ralph Waldo Emerson and William James Stillman that took place in our St. Regis Wilderness Canoe region. These "campfire discussions" where stimulated by our Adirondack spirit. The Lodge has an on-going schedule of Philosopher Pub programs and seasonal activities. You can also create a specialized interactive educational program by contacting us directly. Through our Retreat offerings we have available a wide range of Adirondack Artisans from music to historians. Price subject to program. Please contact us.

Owners Ernest & Cathy Hohmeyer bring unique group facilitation skills. Co-owner Ernest Hohmeyer's professional career of over 25 years has been involved with Adirondack Park sustainability initiatives. He has received numerous federal and state awards including a Presidential citation and brings a unique perspective on sustainability and Adirondack life.
